Bush’s Baked Beans debuts Rocket Pop flavor
Bush's launched three new limited-time baked bean flavors: Apple Pie, Dill Pickle and Rocket Pop. Apple Pie leans dessert-inspired with sweet-spice notes, Dill Pickle pairs a sweet-and-vinegar pickle profile with the beans, and Rocket Pop channels the red-white-blue frozen popsicle’s sugary-tart profile. The lineup pushes a traditionally savory picnic staple into novelty and dessert territory, showing how far canned beans can stretch into summer and snack trends.
Bush's baked beans has jumped the shark (yes, they're real).
Rocket pop? I can kinda see the other two working, but rocket pop is going to be a disaster.
Now they're doing too much. Bush's already have the best canned beans. No one needs or asked for "summer flavors". #BeanSky
Gonna need to see someone jailed for this.
At least it isn't a baked bean flavored rocket pop
Well, Father's Day shopping is done.
Surprising no one at all, they're Walmart exclusives 😆
Dill Pickle is basically Carolina-style BBQ, but wtf even is "Rocket Pop Flavor"? Do those things *have* a flavor?
Those pickle flavoured sound good.
I am regrettably thinking about those beans
Rocket Pop? When did we stop calling them Bomb Pops?
It all went to Hell after Duke died.
Just put the regular ones on buttered toast, you monsters! (c) the UK
at last, baked beans for pregnant women
Baked beans are literally a taste of summer picnics and family reunions out at gramma's farm house. Summer is already baked bean season.
Apple pie may not be that far from the brown sugar. The others...wow!
What? No Pumpkin Pie Spice baked beans?????
I’m ashamed to say that I would like to try the apple pie baked beans
Lot of pearl-clutching and ostentatious disdain for this but I really only have a couple notes. First of all, why Walmart? There are many fine American retailers! Second of all that is clearly a bomb pop; I am entirely unfamiliar with the notion of "rocket pop" [sic].
@proptermalone.bsky.social @rickywlmsbong.bsky.social et al; you have a new Normal Food to explore. (Episode title "These mfers eatin' beans.")
Something like 90% of households shop at Walmart and they’re the largest grocer in the US so they get a lot of exclusive LTOs
My mom put Coke-ola in everything. Including baked beans and BBQ chicken. Also, Bomb pop is probably copyrighted/trademarked and they would have had to pay to use the name.
they probably did a deal w/ Walmart and that's why it's an exclusive.
