Goblin Storm Secret Lair drops, buyers report long queues
Wizards of the Coast launched the Goblin Storm Secret Lair commander deck today with a one-per-customer limit. Buyers trying to check out on Wizards' online store reported multi-minute queue waits, hour-plus delays, and rapid sellouts. Several purchasers said resellers attempted to buy large quantities, worsening site congestion and causing checkout failures. Because supply was limited and demand outstripped availability, collectors and casual players face a high chance of missing the drop and paying inflated secondary-market prices.
Welp. I'm glad I wasted an hour and a half logging in at 11am Eastern to get into the pre-queue to wait 34 minutes for it to be sold out. Sick. #MTG
