Bird Of The Day, theme 'DucksInTheAir', alt 'Feeders'
The weekly 'Bird Of The Day' prompt sets today’s main theme as 'DucksInTheAir' and the alternate theme as 'Feeders'. The main theme asks for photos of ducks in flight while the alternate accepts any bird perched at a human feeder, including platform or hanging feeders. Practical guidance linked to the prompt notes plain cooked pasta can serve as a short-term feeder treat if it is free of butter and seasoning and removed before it molds. Educators are also deploying AI-powered feeders such as BirdBuddy in undergraduate biology courses to automate bird identification and collect monitoring data from feeders.

I have a wren or two that hangs out in my yard. It's amazing to me how such a tiny bird can make so much noise
The mighty Troglodytes troglodytes. They're comparatively x4 louder than a Rooster crowing. 90dbs! And for that reason alone I love them.
Who doesn't like wrens. They're so cute and doing beautifully. We've got some that live in our garden.
#dailysketch - Cockatoo Look at this fancy fella. I was unaware that there was a difference between cockatoos and cockatiels before doing this one. #drawing #artsky #sketch #digitalart #birds #cockatoo #birb
Yes I own a cockatiel.
Fun fact: even though cockatoos are about twice the size of cockateils, but both are equal in their unrepentant dedication to chaos.
Fun fact: cockatiels are actually cockatoos so you would have been right either way ♥️ This lil dude is so cute!
Very nice! here have my Quaker parrot Mishka
