I welcome the NHS Modernisation Bill announced in the King’s Speech. Here in Bolton South and Walkden, waiting lists have already fallen by over 7,000 with 25,000 extra appointments delivered. This Bill will help secure that progress and go further for patients.

NHS waiting lists may have taken, but Caitlin still waited 7 months for a physio appointment for her knee. That's still not good enough in my opinion.

Wee Streeting claiming to have delivered the biggest reduction in NHS waiting lists, in a single month in 17 years, is just absolute tosh! When you pay GPs not to refer, and mandate every list be reviewed and culled, it’s not surprising that 100,000 patients have miraculously “disappeared”.

Waiting lists fallen/ambulances arrival times faster/ abolished NHS England/introduced more scans for various cancers/work on training up care workers to carry out basic nursing procedures in care homes(ongoing)/trialing NHS on line(direct contact with clinicians at home rather than in hospital)

That second phone call I got was from the hospital that deals with the ADHD assessment and asking if I went over to right to choose which I didn't...but it seems I'm further along the waiting list than I thought. Still a long way to go but hopefully soon 🙏
