Senate confirms Kevin Warsh to Fed Board, paving way for chair vote
BREAKING: The Senate has confirmed Kevin Warsh to join the Federal Reserve Board in a 51-45 vote. John Fetterman crossed the aisle to vote for him. Warsh has a net worth between $131 million and $209 million, which would make him the wealthiest Fed Chair ever.
Sadly, Fetterman crossed the aisle a long time ago. In fact, I’d argue he was always there and just decided to show us who he really is.
however many seats you think Dems need to take to control the Senate this fall, you can add one to that number
I remember the argument for Trump was that 'he's got so much money he'll be incorruptible'. Funny how that turned out lmao.
Next time it'll be Fetterman and Platner (it elected). Don't trust Nazis. Don't.
At least us Arizonans had the sense to make it clear to Sinema she would NOT keep her seat after showing her true colors. Cmon Pennsylvania, kick this Temu Joe Rogan out!
John Fetterman is a total piece of shit.
Smh, but not surprised. 🙄
So Warsh comes in and the Fed immediately raises rates because inflation is hot due to Netanyahu Trump’s $30 billion dollar non-war war. Just in time for tyrant Donald’s birthday. At least nobody’s released the full unredacted Epstein files yet.
He isn't qualified–he's in the EPSTEIN FILES.
Fuck Fetterman. And Warsh. And Trump. And the GOP.
Johnny there surely is the biggest disappointment in the Dem senate caucus? (Not counting Schumer, obv.)
Kevin Warsh is Peter Thiel’s guy. (They’ve known each other since college.)
Warsh’s alliance with Silicon Valley and his AI evangelism inform his support for lower interest rates.
What will the lives of 99%+ of Americans look like with oligarchs completely running the country with no regard for the quality of life of ANYONE ELSE?!
Warsh is the poster boy of conflicts of interest. How will Fed decisions affect his personal wealth positions? Even if they are put in a blind trust?
Dude just became the face of the Trump economy. Careful what you wish for…
