nhl.comStar Fox confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, launches June 25
Nintendo confirmed a Star Fox remake for Nintendo Switch 2, releasing June 25, 2026. Nintendo said the game will include new co-op and multiplayer features alongside the remake. The release returns the Star Fox franchise to Nintendo’s new hardware and could broaden its audience by adding modern multiplayer options.
Star Fox is officially the #1 best selling Switch 2 game on Amazon right now: amzn.to/46IzYd5 #ad do we think it's because the pre-order is almost 20% off or is it because Star Fox is GOATed ? (or both)
The negativity grifters are losing this fight, again...! I'd say both, though I already preordered my copy of the game digitally.
Whatever the reason is, I’m happy to see it on a best selling list. If this remake does very well, that dramatically increases the chances that we’ll get a ground-up new Star Fox game in the next few years or so.
I’m one of the few that love these new designs. And despite it’s a remake of 64, I hope we’ll get some solid DLC missions in the future
Nintendo revealing games closer to launch keeps things interesting and is infinitely better than Wonder Woman logo in 2021 only to be cancelled 5 years later But it keeps Nintendo fans in a constant state of fan anxiety Here is Furakawa telling investors “yes, we have games releasing after July”
Just a month ago, they had nothing dated post May which seemed dire. But in a few weeks they dated Rhythm heaven and Splatoon raiders, and announced star fox Good chance we get FE fortune’s weave and The Dusk Bloods in August and September leaving the rest of the fiscal year blank
and that anxiety only ever exists because "fans" don't actually pay attention because there's never nothing and their announcement patterns are very easy to predict and follow if one gives even a tiny bit of thought to the whole thing.
I still think a Direct in June (or July) to reveal the full lineup for the rest of the year makes sense
The grifters on the other site are all like "omg unannounced games in the second half of the year" There's absolutely nothing dated after Raiders, and I think Fire Emblem is the only other actual game announced either.
