Bonnie Tyler, 74, has been placed in a medically induced coma after emergency intestinal surgery at a hospital near her home in Faro, Portugal, her spokesperson said. The 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' singer underwent the operation this week and her team said her condition is very guarded. She had been scheduled to perform more than two dozen shows this year, putting upcoming tour dates in doubt.
