CBS cancels The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Letterman blasts owners
CBS canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, removing his late-night program from the network lineup. David Letterman publicly blasted the network's owners, calling them 'lying weasels' over the cancellation. Seth Meyers had announced a May 11 appearance that would have brought Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver and Colbert together, plans now cast into doubt. The cancellation matters because it narrows a major platform for political interviews and cultural segments that recently included guests such as Barack Obama, Sally Field, Neil deGrasse Tyson and William Shatner.
The graphics guy at 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' is clearly going through some stuff.
Colbert is was and always will be the best. I loved Letterman & Carson. But, Colbert is big-picture great.
So sad to know that one great thing coming from the States is going to be over soon... We needed Stephen Colbert to alleviate the anxiety caused by the fascist bros taking over Washington and disrupting world peace...
To be fair, he might also be padding his demo reel.
Sorry, M Colbert NEVER FAILS.
Colbert, you are a one of- a- kind genius.
Stephen Colbert "deja Hormuz' for the win.
They’ve got nothing to lose
They All will be jobless...
