I love how you can kinda tell that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company didn’t have high expectations for Pokopia because it’s a Pokemon spinoff. I’ve seen people either get or want a Switch 2 just for this game. The “physical” version was sold out everywhere for a bit as well. People love cozy games.

The only thing I can think that MIGHT have come close is Pokemon Pokopia because I've had people who know nothing about games bring it up to me or mention it's what convinced them to get a switch 2. But even then, I don't think it's anywhere near to the same degree you mean.
