I definitely really want one at some point. I love the Steam Deck's input options and that on a controller is an obvious evolution. Sucks the state of things delayed it so long. At least I got the og Steam Controller, tho it's got a broken paddle

I figured this would happen. It has been hyped up and delayed a long time. This almost always happens with Valve hardware and tbh I think a part of it is that they didn't manufacture enough of them.

old steam controller was my favorite controller but didn’t have two joysticks which was kinda killer i think the steam deck is pretty bad ergonomically but if the new controller is light it’s a much more minor issue and i can see it being really nice

I'm hoping it'll be the perfect controller for streaming PC games across the house. Steam Link/Moonlight work great for me, but PS5 controller performance feels pretty laggy at times. Having a dedicated 2.4ghz dongle should hopefully have it feeling way snappier.

Steam deck touchpads are nice. Probably the best mouse replacement in a controller form factor. TMR joysticks are next gen. Gyro controls are rare feature add. Basically, it does everything.

Literally why I love the dualshock 4 more than my dualsense is cause it was so much smaller/lighter triggers!! I miss when they weren't so damn chunky and the steam controller looks like a nightmare for me
