Knowledge Fight podcast announces it is ending

comedyMay 4, 202622915

Dan and Jordan announced they are wrapping up the decade-plus Knowledge Fight podcast in a final post titled "Times Changing." The program built its reputation by closely critiquing and debunking right-wing media, including sustained coverage of Alex Jones and Infowars, and released episodes for more than ten years. One host published a piece called "A New Adventure," and both signaled they will step away to pursue other creative and professional projects. The end closes one of the longest-running media-accountability shows and leaves a large episode archive useful for researchers, critics, and listeners tracking conspiratorial media.

Knowledge Fight was and remains one of the all-time great podcasts. It is the rarest kind of thing: a show that entertains while having a real-life impact. Dan and Jordan helped defang and neuter elements of a powerful propaganda network. Excited to see what both do next.

I mean it makes sense they’re wrapping it up, given that they fucking defeated their podcast subject. I hope they (Dan in particular) get to spend time on stuff that is a lot less aggravating than listening to hours and hours of Alex Jones every week. Hats off to the lads.

There wasn't anywhere for them to go. They tried to do the same thing to Tucker and Candace, but Tucker is too smarmy and is no fun, while Candace is clearly quite ill and it doesn't feel right.

Damn it robert now all I have left is cool zone media and the one where the guys read creepy stories

CJ the Awkward7

This makes me really sad but I’m also so glad to have found to this podcast (through BTB, actually). I really hope Dan and Jordan will continue working together as they make such a great team.

Cool Zone Media should hire Dan

Pilfering Kibble5

I was introduced to Dan and Jordan when I heard them guesting on BTB. Been hooked for well over a year now. Sad news, but also excited to see what else they do.

Reluctant Monk4

I was so sad to listen to that last episode. I know those two will go on to do great things, but damn... bittersweet

Mees4

A little devastated, and sad that it had to get such a bitter ending behind the scenes, but I hope they can move forward to something a lot more exciting than episode 1138 of looking at the racist clockwork doll that keeps repeating his lines

XeroHour4

It makes me so sad, but I get it. I'm sure it was taking a huge toll on their mental health as well.

Thank you Robert, I first listened to them on your show, and I've listened, religiously, ever since for over 7 years.

Robert, with KF gone, it’s your podcast and my cat’s little feet carrying me through the worst days of my life so PLEASE don’t go anywhere ❤️ Here he is, please keep making cool podcasts… (seriously though, I trust your opinions on the world so much)

Robbie, sometimes2

Dammit, I really wanted them to take a sojourn into the NYT Tucker interview. Jordan could've finally unlocked his mutant superpowers.

Yung Boozer🦈2

I get that it wouldn’t survive infowars dying but man that news just sucks. They helped me through a lot of dark and difficult times with their way of looking at the current state of the world and being funny but not disrespectful about it

Fox2

Please have them back once in a while, alone or together. Love those guys!

Honey Drop2

It was important and powerful work and my heart is breaking it won't look the same anymore but so curious and excited to hear what's next for them both.

Damn, it’s the end of an era, huh?
