Microsoft rolls out Xbox Mode for Windows 11 PCs

Microsoft began rolling out Xbox Mode to Windows 11 PCs today, adding a full-screen, controller-friendly Xbox interface to the Xbox PC app. Xbox Mode lets players browse and launch games with a controller and presents an aggregated game library that includes the full Xbox Game Pass catalog plus installed titles from Steam, GOG, and Epic. Users enable Xbox Mode by installing the latest Windows update; the feature appears inside the Xbox PC app on updated Windows 11 machines. This brings a console-style, couch-friendly launcher to PCs, making controller-first play and Game Pass discovery simpler across Windows and multiple storefronts.

I'm glad to see how they are obviously being pushed to improve Windows and would likely have tested this new Xbox Mode if I still had a Windows PC. I moved fully to CachyOS, even my gaming pc with an rtx5080, and it has been great.
