Brett Howden scored a shorthanded goal at 5:28 of the second overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights to a 5-4 Game 5 win over the Utah Mammoth at T-Mobile Arena. Pavel Dorofeyev recorded a hat trick, including a third-period goal with 53 seconds remaining that forced the first overtime. The victory gives Vegas a 3-2 lead in the first-round series and puts Utah facing elimination in Game 6.
