Snopes fact-checks claims about Renee Good shooting

Snopes says the ICE agent WHO shot Renee Good was not "cleared of all charges" and says the agent was never formally charged. State and local officials have sued federal agencies seeking access to evidence in three shootings by federal officers, including Good's case. The correction matters because the false cleared claim could obscure the actual status of investigations and legal accountability in officer-involved shootings.

1/ As far as I can tell, the only thing Randy has posted about Renee Good or Alex Pretti is to complain that Jonathan Last referred to their murders as state terrorism. He openly mocks Obama's reaction to the murder of Trayvon Martin, in the process accusing Obama himself of violent leanings.

As someone in an influential position in academia, Barnett should be ashamed of himself. Such outrageous and inflammatory remarks are unbecoming of a scholar of constitutional law. Hopefully Georgetown's board is reviewing Barnett's conduct with a view to possible censure.
