May Day, nationwide 'No Work, No School, No Shopping' actions planned for May 1
Labor and left groups across the United States are organizing a nationwide May Day on May 1 called "No Work, No School, No Shopping," planning mass walkouts, rallies and local events to demand the removal of Donald Trump. Organizers are urging workers, students, and families to call out of work, walk out of school, and refuse to shop to create economic disruption; cities with planned actions include Houston, where campaigns link labor rights to solar jobs and critique U.S. policy on Israel and Iran, and Worcester, which lists a City Hall rally from 4 to 6 PM. Some groups are framing the day around explicit political demands, with a revcom call declaring "TRUMP MUST GO NOW," while other labor organizations emphasize wages, workplace power, and green job creation. Organizers intend the synchronized disruptions to pressure political leaders, spotlight labor and climate job issues, and demonstrate nationwide organizing capacity.

Will be a great day to take some time to look at your 401K accounts and divest from all the firms that contributed to the ballroom: www.cnn.com/2025/10/23/p...
Time to boycott everything that is against human rights. We need country wide, boycott, and strike.
Boycott social media… FB, instagram etc. let’s go dark on that.
The only shop I’m visiting that day is my hairstylist who has her own business.
Good start - then we need to narrow the focus and go much deeper. Pick one or a small number of the worst of the worst (e.g., Amazon) and let's get consumers to boycott it; let's pull together a strike fund for their workers; let's encourage shareholder disinvestment.
We need to become better organized., cbwrong.blogspot.com/2026/04/how-...
We are traveling that day. However, any purchases I need to make, I will make prior to Friday! It’s the least I can do!
Hope this works. Support from France!
