Anzac Day ceremonies marred by booing of Welcome to Country speeches

Welcome to Country is a formal Indigenous protocol performed by elders to acknowledge Traditional Owners and was included in the ceremonies. Booing the Welcome to Country at an Anzac Day ceremony is the same racism that Pauline Hanson performs every time she turns her back on the Acknowledgment of Country in the Senate. It doesn’t require a lot of analysis; it’s as sophisticated as she is.
