Boards of Canada announced Inferno, an 18-track album due May 29, 2026. Warp Records' release page and the band's YouTube post list formats: a limited red translucent 2LP in a triple gatefold with a 16-page booklet, a standard black 2LP, CD, and digital. Preorders went live on retailer Bleep with multiple album-and-merch configurations, and the site's listings briefly crashed under demand. Inferno will be Boards of Canada's fifth studio album and their first full-length since Tomorrow's Harvest in 2013, ending a 13-year gap.
