Ted Lasso Season 4 debuted on Apple TV on Wednesday, Aug. 5, with Jason Sudeikis returning as Ted Lasso to coach a second-division women’s football team in Richmond. Apple TV says the season will run with one new episode releasing each Wednesday through Oct. 7. The series first premiered in 2020 and earned 20 Emmy nominations for its debut season; the first three seasons remain available to stream on Apple TV with a paid subscription. Cast premiere events took place in Los Angeles and the show’s cast also held a premiere in Brooklyn, New York, ahead of the launch. Early social posts and first reactions note Episode 1 as a “love letter to Kansas City” and say the premiere includes more baseball content than viewers expected.
