That Resident Evil movie trailer has a bunch of visual shorthand for game mechanics and it's wild to see people say it's nothing like the games. Like, Cregger is clearly making shots evocative of safe rooms and inventory management. The guy looking out the window to see an enemy is straight up RE2.
