Harry Ford hits first MLB home run for Washington Nationals

Harry Ford hit his first Major League home run, a 358-foot two-run shot off Justin Sterner, during his Washington Nationals debut. The catcher had been recalled from the Rochester Red Wings and was making his first big league appearance. Ford finished the game with two hits in five at-bats. The homer provided two runs for the Nationals and marked Ford's first career RBI at the MLB level.

Exhaustive research confirms that Bryce Eldridge's home run off Bryce Miller is the first Bryce-off-Bryce home run in MLB history. Important to append, however: Brice Turang (who obviously spells his name differently) hit a home run against Bryce Elder in 2023.
