Obvious simulation while on a yellow card leads to second booking and ejection
VAR is increasingly dumb & ruining far more games than it’s fixing. But you just can’t do this if you’re already on a yellow.

Soren Lawrenson15I don’t get it some of the Swiss players appeal to the referee and the yellow is given to the Argentine. Then it’s found to be a dive so the yellow is reversed and the Swiss player is sent off for a second yellow. I can’t see any argument. Don’t dive if you don’t want a yellow card.

David Beffert2Each day I’m more convinced that the only way to fix VAR is to create a challenge system (2 for each side per game?). Either way, restricting its use versus expanding it is the way to fix it.
