Fireworks and drone shows wrap up July 4 celebrations in several towns
Beautiful gesture from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, illuminating the Mother Ukraine monument in Kyiv in Stars & Stripes of the American flag. May the world continue to stand firmly alongside the resilient, courageous people of Ukraine in their fight for freedom & liberty. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦 🕊️ #4thOfJuly
I wish our current president were 1/100th the class act Zelenskyy is.
I hope it turns out that we value our freedom from autocracy as much as Ukraine values theirs.
The US does *not* deserve this.
Thank you for still believing in the hope of the USA. May we live to deserve your confidence.
Zelensky is a great leader and inspiration to is all. 💙💙❤️❤️
In spite of the rude and ill-bred nastiness of #47 and his motley despicable crew, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stands up to be the leader we lack- with dignity and integrity!
Between this and the French with the sign on the Eiffel Tower, good reminder these things are bigger than the current admin and moment
Be the America that Ukraine thinks you are.
We, the American people, have an obligation to strive to make the USA a nation worthy of such gestures, and I believe we can. And we must. 🇺🇲🇺🇦
This moves me, a lit. That statue is amazing to see. If you get the chance to go to Kyiv, Take It.
He loves our country more than the ruling party does.
This means more to me than any fireworks or flyovers on the Potomac tonight
My fellow white people, reject the fascist GOP, racism, and the genocider Putin. Vote Democratic.
The Spirit of '76 shall never die
You can see what America means to others as an idea that helped them live through times of tyranny and occupation. We need to deserve that.
Now we just need to earn this back that was freely give
From the Olympics to the Cascades, it's a glorious #4thOfJuly in the Pacific Northwest! The Brothers and Mt Rainier
As seen from Lake Tapps as of a few seconds ago. Happy 4th. One day this orange nightmare will be over
We’re still waiting for the blue sky to emerge over here in the Olympics.
I love Rainier! Was there 3 years ago
It’s a little hazy over here, but it’s clearing in the Sinclair Inlet
Happy Fourth Mr. Deer Whisperer!
It makes my heart hurt to see the Olympic range so bare.
If you haven't been to the Pacific Northwest you haven't yet fully lived. We welcome you all to come enjoy some of the most beautiful and accessible treasures that America has. Come see us, you won't regret it. 🏞 Adding a bit of Mt.Hood, the Sisters and our Oregon coast to this wonderful post.
A massive northward view along the Cascade Volcanic Arc; Mount Jefferson, Mount Hood, Mount Adams, Mount Saint Helens, and Mount Rainier in the center of the distant background.
Tourists "dangled their tired feet in the Reflecting Pool in front of the Washington Monument, or they waded — fully clothed and often knee-deep in water — across the pond in front of the Lincoln Memorial" - Washington Post 7-5-1976 reports July 4th Bicentennial fireworks

The heat is still very hot (🤣 - 100° again). Not in a very celabtory mood, but we are heading to a friend's house up the block for a cookout. He smoked a brisket! Wanted to take a moment before we left to say thank you for the likes & reposts. Celebrating or not, hope everyone has a good day.
missing you take care of yourself catch you on the flip side🫂
