i will never understand how they just up and decided to treat this like one of their sports titles and do absolutely no long-term support. adding different routes to the same stages is not a major change. crossworlds smokes this by a mile, i am totally mystified by how this has all turned out.

Still not worth $80 for this milquetoast nothing burger with less content than 8 Deluxe. Actual new tracks and bringing back crossover characters and tracks are needed. Oh wait. Nintendo never listens. Instead of DLC we get Star Fox 64 again with ugly ass character designs.

Honestly? Good. Eight rallies was a frankly disgustingly small amount. 16 seems like a solid sweet spot for the mode to remain fun in the long term

Knockout Tour is the best part of the game. Still hope we get more tracks, outfits etc but this is a good start and shows Nintendo isn't done with it yet, even if Knockout Tour is one of the 'easier' things it can add since it's just creating new routes through existing areas.

It’s a little interesting how much Mario Kart World addresses like, specific problems top players have. It makes me wonder if they watch videos. They adjusted the head bouncing mechanic, made the sound horn visible when held, added way to retreat from slip stream, buffed front running, ect.
