What lovely feathers to be. Yesterday, while weeding my backyard, one Mr. Robin followed me everywhere for over 2hrs. Not more than 6" away if I stopped, he stopped. When I sang or spoke to him ? He looked at me intently with his head cocked. Do think a friend be made or he saw an easy worm❣️

Karl Kittiwake was always sleeping with one eye open, because he was often subjected to bullying due to him being more rotund that the other Kittiwakes. Now don't let his size put you off because he's always in the gym, that said he also loves his food too. And this is where the issues lies because he wouldn't just order one portion for himself when he visited the takeaway's, he would order at least two portions because he always says he's still growing. Now he was right in one sense but it wasn't the one he wanted you to believe it was, he was making it very hard to build his nests on the cliff edges because he was more likely to roll off the edge. I know every so often I post a macro photograph of a leaf from my Strelitzia plant but it fits today's theme so well. Tried to take it with my tiny pink plastic dinosaur (cracker tat) behind for amusing shadow interest but couldn't get the sharpness. The dinosaur is propped up against the base of the plant and reminds me to be more 'roaaaarrr' each day. You'll have to make do with the simple gorgeousness of the leaf alone. Image taken using a macro setting of a section of a green Strelitzia leaf illuminated by sunlight. There is a notable curve on the brick-like capillary structure, sweeping from bottom left towards top right. It is an intense mixture of greens from lime to a deep grass green.
