they will play a third place team. but don't get complacent many good teams have not done that well in their group and finished in third place remember Portugal finished third place in 2016 and went on to win it all

FT: #usmnt 2-0 Australia. Diffrent kind of game than Paraguay, but similar result. Credit the US for finding a different way to win, and without Pulisic. Now the US sits atop Group D. Definitely got scrappy in the second half, and there were some anxious moments, but credit the US for seeing it out.
