I’m loving the Tartan Army/Rock Chalk Algeria etc stories, but it amazes me that they are that many people who have the cash to spend two weeks at an expensive city in a foreign country with airfare, meals, and hotels, even before you get to tickets, and beer.

Brenton Mincemoyer 2I know people who have taken multi-week European vacations that they see as once-in-a-lifetime trips that they save money for years to take. I personally can't see doing a 2 week international trip to KC or suburban Boston being equal to that, but to each their own, I guess.
