How the Grinch Stole Christmas sequel in development
Universal and Imagine Entertainment are developing a live-action follow-up to the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas, with Brian Grazer producing. Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise his role as the Grinch and Ron Howard is attached to return as director. The sequel arrives more than 25 years after the Jim Carrey-led adaptation and could expand the Dr. Seuss adaptation into a franchise.
‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ Sequel in the Works with Jim Carrey, Ron Howard www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie... "No deal is done, but Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise his role as the classic Dr. Seuss character the Grinch, with Ron Howard returning to direct."
They must've got him a convincing script for the Grinch halloween prequel.
Jim "I Don't Do Sequels" Carrey strikes again
If they make another Mask I hope they call that person who won that Nintendo Power contest.
Carrey was pretty vocal about hating the prosthetics/makeup because it took hours to apply so they must be throwing a fat bag at him to get him onboard for this one.
Scene: Grinch and his dog open up the door to his old unused cave, the music swells as he whispers "We're home Max."
Looks like the p6 final boss

jfc hire people to come up with new ideas fuck executive-driven franchise bullshit
I think we should still respect Dr. Seuss’s now-deceased widow’s opposition to any more live-action adaptations after the failure of the 2003 Cat In the Hat live-action movie.
Didn’t Carrey have a mental breakdown because he hated the makeup/suit so much?
Do you see what happens Zennials? Do you see what happens when you give a soft reappraisal to The Cat in the Hat movie? You're going to get three of these, now.
"How the Grinch Won the War On Christmas?" "How the Grinch Put Christ Back in Christmas?" This is stoopid, even by sequels-no-one-asked-for standards.
Lol, learned nothing from Backrooms and Obsession
Reminder that the first movie came out nearly a year before 9/11
