Germany defeated Curaçao 7-1 in Group E at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Kai Havertz converting a penalty and adding a second to complete a brace. Curaçao managed one goal but could not contain Germany's attack as the Germans piled on goals across both halves. Like, if you’re Germany, you can’t really brush off a goal from Curaçao. Germany could’ve scored 20 goals today and it wouldn’t have made it any less of a thing. Curaçao got ‘em. It’s there forever.
