The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act in theaters
The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, the series finale from creator Gooseworx and studio Glitch Productions, opened in theaters this week as a limited theatrical event. The film earned a $22 million domestic opening weekend. Early viewers called the finale emotionally wrenching and in places darker than expected, while other viewers praised it as a satisfying conclusion and said the show "stuck the landing." The theatrical rollout proves an indie web-originated animated series can translate into a commercially viable, emotionally resonant cinema event and could encourage more web-to-theater adaptations.
#tadc #theamazingdigitalcircus oh man they went to the premiere of Pomni 2: Return of Pomni Pomni's outfit is directly referencing the ABSOLUTELY amazing fit Lizzie Freeman wore at the red carpet! it was SO GOOD!!
I'm gonna call it the Torture Tux from now on oh my god
Poor guy was in a hurry and had to choose between The Unintentional Torture Outfit or The Intentional Torture Outfit.
He does look good in sequin!!!! Theyre such goobers even in fancy attire :>
The textures in this piece are so satisfying to look at.
I HAD TO STOP MYSELF FROM SAYING POMNI PUSSY ATTACK OUT LOUD WHEN I FIRST SAW IT
God, Pomni is just beautiful here.
i love how you draw caine so much, he's so shapes, amazing art omg
I’m mad that the fucking Amazing Digital Circus made me cry in the theater
I'm still so mad that I got so emotionally overwhelmed that I passed out in a parking lot, and then had to explain to everyone that I passed out because of Amazing Digital Circus.
I guess the real dastardly tricks were the caines we met along the way
I cried multiple times...I feel ya
I survived a suicide attempt a month ago and when Pomni did the thing with Jax I felt like I got hit by a truck.
How was your theater experience? I'm going on tuesday and am kind of dreading what the crowd might be like.
Me and my partner of almost 2 yeaes broke up a few months ago. It's a whole mess I don't want to get into but it boiled down to mental health issues, and There were quite a few lines in the movie that i resonated with me in that regard. So yeah i feel you i was fucking SOBBING. estrogen is great
that just means there was a hidden pomni in your tear ducts
Yeah it made me cry too
Ah yes, I too wept upon ze other moviegoers when gooble, pomni, gangle, quieeni , and ribbit and my favorite character ragatha were revealed to be ze real ze amazing digital circus was ze friends we made upon our way all along. Congrat for watching it in theatres, cry good it was, my favorite ep :D
I was doing real good about keeping it together, but there was just *one* interaction in the last 15 minutes that hit me directly where I lived. It wasn't a lot, but I definitely wasn't dry-eyed anymore.
Watched The Amazing Digital Circus Last Act As a fan of this series, this not only has a fun rewatch of episode 8 in theaters but gives a satisfying ending to the series with fantastic voice acting from the cast, amazing writing and great animation
I no longer live near a theater as of August of last year, so I have to wait until the 19th to watch it. I'm sure the wait will be worth it though.
I cried so damn much because it managed to not just tug at my heart strings but made me confront some of my dark moments and openly talk about it with friends. It was a somewhat healing moment for me.
Based on some of the negative reactions I've heard about Digital Circus, is it fair to say that FNAF theories ruined the ability of a generation to look at any story and not just assume that it's going to be a mystery box puzzle with definitive answers to eek out of every frame or something
I get a vibe that these people don't watch shows or play games for plot or characters but instead because they want to write a wiki article or try to solve a puzzle, even when there isn't a puzzle to solve Someone needs to introduce them to sudokus
as someone who loved fnaf as a kid yes scott would change shit specifically to fuck with theorists, he admitted this, and now people just assume every creator is like that its insufferable because scott wasnt even a great writer most of the time anyway
