Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake announced

Capcom announced a full remake titled Resident Evil: Veronica, a reimagining of 2000's Code: Veronica, during the Summer Game Fest showcase. The reveal trailer centers on Claire Redfield and promises modernized third-person gameplay, upgraded visuals, and a reimagined storyline. Capcom confirmed a 2027 release window and said the game will launch on PC and current consoles including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The remake updates one of the series' darker, story-heavy entries for new players and collectors WHO want a modern survival-horror experience.
