Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition coming to Nintendo Switch 2 Aug 28
Bandai Namco released new direct feed Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay footage and announced Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will launch on August 28, 2026. The video confirms the Switch 2 port running on Nintendo's next console and shows the game under the Tarnished Edition branding. The release brings FromSoftware's open-world action RPG to Switch 2 hardware, letting owners play Elden Ring natively on the hybrid system. That matters because a major AAA FromSoftware title will be available on Nintendo's new platform starting August 28, expanding access for players WHO prefer Switch hardware.
