Maverick Games, founded by former Forza Horizon leads including the ex-Forza Horizon 5 creative director, unveiled Clutch, a cinematic open-world driving game slated for 2027. The studio says the team includes veterans from Playground Games and Codemasters and aims to "break the mould of modern driving games." Clutch will combine open-world racing with cinematic set pieces, blending classic first-to-finish races and gadget-infused action movie car chases.
