FFXIV GPose screenshots mark Pride gatherings

Final Fantasy XIV players shared GPose screenshots and Pride-themed in-game party photos for Pride Month, including a set titled "Pride Party at Yasu's place." Images spotlighted a range of races and setups, with Lalafell credited to a school pack AU, Viera and Aura portraits, Miqo'te and Hrothgar scenes such as a "Piggy kiss," Au Ra and Elezen palette cleansers, and tagged shots labeled for consensual(ish) choking or romantic moments. Several creators said scheduled maintenance prevented new screenshots, so they reused archived images and labeled them accordingly. These posts show GPose being used as a creative, in-game way to stage queer representation, roleplay, and cosplay for Pride celebrations.

Gpose is of the pride flag, where each of the colours is a location in game. Only location editing was brightness and contrast, with some saturation to bring out the primary colours in it. Over the whole gpose I put some of my usual levels and gradient layers, just to make it all easier to read. This was a joy to make, getting to think of and go to all my favourite locations in game! i'm still not as comfortable shooting outside as i am inside, probably because i have to deal with too many blues and greens, and my shaders are more geared to warmer tones. basically it just means that i have a bit more to do in editing... punching up the cool tones so they're not totally washed out. ;3
