Summer Game Fest week begins, showcases and IGN Live events listed
Summer Game Fest week kicks off with multiple showcases and IGN Live events, anchored by the Southeast Asian Games Showcase on June 6, which will spotlight regional titles including GigaBash, HellHeart Breaker, In Full Bloom and NOL and stream on YouTube and Twitch. SideQuesting published its ULTIMATE E3 2026 Party List, adding new activations for Warframe and Soulframe and expanding concerts, afterparties and regional showcases around the E3 season. IGN Live and Summer Game Fest are running developer panels, demos and onsite activations this week, giving attendees and audiences early looks at indie and regional releases ahead of major publisher showcases.
It's Summer Game Fest season, so get ready to see the "Focus M" video referenced and reposted a lot
Somehow "Focus, M" has become both an overused thought terminating cliché, and yet, an entirely accurate criticism that needs to be seen more
I enjoyed the Showcase today, but Dawg the final boss literally had the slime cube and talking slime yell ”Focus, Faye!“ after taking a single hit. This meme has aged very well.
It's already happening with Wolverine lol
Happy Summer Game Fest week! We built a way to keep up with video game news from every source in a way that (hopefully) doesn't make your brain slide out of your ears. ☼ overworld.vg ☼ It's a cool new website! In 2026!!
Wrote more about where this came from and why on the blog: wavelengths.online/posts/welcom...
Immediately bookmarked. Smart idea for what I believe to be a larger audience than we assume of people who want to keep up with games news/writing but can't keep up with the social media flow.
Stellar goddamn stuff. Congrats, Brendon!!
So erm, this is what September's game release slate looks like after that SoP - and Summer Game Fest hasn't even started yet. www.videogameschronicle.com/guide/upcomi...
Watch the Ocarina of Time remake drop on September 24
Woe to those within the Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed release window.
You're forgetting Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter on the 15th
None of those look particularly interesting to me if I'm being honest
It's a somewhat awkward time for Summer Game Fest, a weeklong spectacle of events that kicks off today. Given the challenging state of console gaming in particular, both Microsoft and Sony have an opportunity to show players just why they should buy these increasingly expensive boxes.
I can build a home PC and run emulators that cost half, if not a quarter of the price, and can be used for multiple things besides gaming. These huge tech giants have lost sight of the gaming side of the equation and are only in it for the money.
I swear if they talk about AI.
