Kitchener Rangers win 2026 Memorial Cup

The Kitchener Rangers defeated the Everett Silvertips 6-2 to win the 2026 Memorial Cup, the Canadian Hockey League championship. This is the Rangers' third Memorial Cup and marks the third straight season an Ontario Hockey League team has captured the CHL title. Forward Sam O'Reilly scored a goal and added three assists in the final, finishing the tournament with three goals and five assists for eight points in four Memorial Cup games. Everett had been pursuing a rare U.S. franchise Memorial Cup, so Kitchener's victory both ends that bid and reinforces OHL dominance in junior hockey.
