CBS issues copyright notices over Stephen Colbert’s Monroe video
CBS filed copyright takedown notices targeting Stephen Colbert's 'Only in Monroe' comeback clip after his Late Show finale. Colbert immediately launched his own YouTube channel and posted the 'Only in Monroe' segment among the first videos. The segment lampooned CBS and its parent company Paramount in a local-access style bit, and CBS' notices focused on online uploads of that clip. The dispute matters because it highlights WHO controls viral late-night material and could complicate Colbert's ability to distribute content independently.
Stephen Colbert’s replacement, Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed, ratings have dropped 85%. Good job, CBS. 👏 www.thedailybeast.com//obsessed/co...
CBS replaced Stephen Colbert and got an 85% ratings DROP. Tremendous work, geniuses. Colbert brought heat, wit, and nightly accountability that made powerful people VERY uncomfortable. CBS saw that and said: “How can we make fewer people watch?” Mission accomplished!
And the ratings are really nothing to slam Byron Allen about--he's a decent guy with a decent little show. But he's not running a high-rantings, late-night talk show. CBS under Bari is a disaster across the board.
That dude PAID CBS for that time slot. Who does that? 😳😝🤪
No one can replace Steven Fuck cbsuuuuuuck all the way off!
CBS will get everything they deserve….
CBS taking yet another failed Leap.....
Bari ain’t gonna last much longer
CBS ? What is a CBS ? 🤔
It should go lower. Stephen Colbert is irreplaceable but Bari is replaceable. CBS is a vapid brainless sports channel. Monster trucks and mud wrestling
Good. I heard he leased the time slot. I'm wondering who the sponsors are, companies he owns? LOL
That show's not funny but CBS going bankrupt would be.
Isn’t he paying for the time slot?
I’m wondering how much money the Ellisons would lose if all Paramount+ subscriptions were canceled and everyone boycotted both Paramount and CBS. Also wonder what it would take to cause CBS to completely fail. We should definitely put these things to the test! 😂👍🏼
Cut ur cable until we remove the trash !
Byron should’ve never taken this job.
📺 If "Complicit Bull S**t" (CBS) Wanted Boring Roundtable Joke Setups Like "So, I Hear You Had A Mishap At The Grocery Store," Well They SURE Got It! Thank You To Dave Letterman & Stephen Colbert 🙏For The DECADES Of Insight & Laughter.
They're goin down, I'm yelling timber! 🎶
It’s not about making money. It’s about eliminating dissent. "There are some things money can't buy; for everything else, there's CBS.” Priceless.
Not a replacement, Byron Allen BOUGHT the time and sells ad space during it. Funny enough it is actually closer to public access than Only in Munroe
Bari Weiss will go down (😝) as the single biggest ass-kissing entity that destroyed an entire network to prove her love. May her despicable shit slap her in the ass and send her home in a coffin specially made for career suicide.
Doesn't matter to CBS: their deal with Allen pays them upfront for the airtime, so 100% profit with no cost/outlay. Looks better on the ROI (Return-on-Investment) measurements. Plus they get rid of a Trump critic so they can get gov't approval to merge with Warner Brothers. But the question... 1/2
Since last Thu, CBS is no longer an app on our TVs.
We could all see this coming. The second string was never going to make it in the top spot, especially after the untimely vindictive dethroning.
I mean has Byron Allen been in hiding for 25 years? Like I can’t remember the last I saw his face
CBS will say its because he's black.
And it's only going to get worse.. C🚫BS
