It’s sad that Rob Base passed away before he even turned 60. He was considered a one hit wonder because he made an infectious Rap single that crossed over in 1988 but he SPECIALIZED in making infectious Rap singles. Most folks didn’t realize he was a producer himself who was adept at making jams…
