Manon Rhéaume named general manager of PWHL Detroit

Manon Rhéaume was named general manager of the PWHL Detroit expansion team by the Professional Women’s Hockey League on May 15, 2026. I thought Manon Rhéaume was the obvious choice to be the General Manager of PWHL Detroit, and I'm glad the league agreed with me. She has experience as a player, she's worked for years in girls' hockey in Detroit, and she worked in hockey operations for the NHL's Los Angeles Kings.
