NFL releases full 2026 schedule, Vikings get favorable timing

sportsMay 15, 2026243,319

The NFL released its full 2026 regular-season schedule and slated the Minnesota Vikings to host the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 1 on CBS at 4:25 p.m. ET. The league also scheduled a New England Patriots versus Seattle Seahawks rematch as the season opener. That early home date hands Minnesota a scheduling advantage and increases pressure on Green Bay in the NFC North. High-profile early matchups and rematches will influence playoff seeding and national broadcast windows throughout the season.

The Titans did a super low-tech schedule release video and people loved it The Cardinals used AI and they’re getting crushed Seems telling!

Can you feel the vibe shift

Mina Kimes975

Feel like this dynamic is playing out over and over and brands still keep putting out slop like Lucy with the football

Mo81

The low tech Titans release from a couple years ago where they had people on the street guess team names based on the logos was the best

NohVah76

Something ironic about the team in the middle of the desert actually finding a way to light water on fire

maura johnston43

thought it was interesting how at least three teams did videos based on physically making art (jets zen paint mixing, giants pictionary, bears bob ross, maybe throw the jags barber video in there as well).

Tommy44Vercetti43

The Detroit Lions made more effort in their schedule release video, and it's just a 30-second video of Dan Campbell pinning the schedule on a bulletin board.

An Enemy Spy25

Why do these companies keep being surprised that people hate AI slop when this has happened so many times?

Sam G13

Almost like the entire pitch of the last decade — that millennials value authenticity — wasn’t just bullshit.

Mike Suszek12

The rejection of AI by sports teams has been a small win this week

CascadiaCoug12

Did the Cardinals have a Mike Johnson AI guy because yikes

Mary Angulo8

Just when I thought it couldn't be worse to be a Cards fan... coooooool slop guys

Alexandrian Apologist7

One team showed effort even if it lacks flash. The other team showed they're already onto 2027.

Reticent Evil 96

I'd try to talk mess, but I'm a Niner fan. Their AI slop offering was somehow worse, and they play in the heart of Silicon Valley! Like, aren't they supposed to be good at AI slop there? At least the Cardinals tried to make a skit of theirs.

Cam5

And the Chargers continue their tradition of absolutely crushing their schedule videos.

Karen A. Virus3

Good video, but damn shame the NFL shouldn't be playing in Tennessee (or any revanchist Jim Crow state). www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Anything the teams did beats the clubbing promotion ESPN has done to sell yet another television show no one wanted. Just like weekly CFP poll shows are pointless, so is a schedule release "special". Media is behaving like AI sell. You'll take more football talk and LIKE IT, or ELSE!

Celso Távora3

People have not learned from the wonderful 2023 Titans schedule release. The simpler, the better.

will2

The worst team in the nfc west lives up to their ranking.

Jaco2

Im mad that I contributed a "click" to see that. What gets me is regardless of how bad it is...someone said yep let's go with that? Or they were me in college and remembered they had a project due

SteeveH2

Fuck AI and those that use it.

NECRO2

The Browns did a Street Fighter themed schedule.

Milton E. Malespin 2

I'm sure the economist in you is pondering just how many other companies and investors under the radar are also extremely invested in A.I., to a point where if the bubble pops they lose everything, hence why they are pushing so hard to get the public to embrace the controversial technology

Xtn2

When are these idiots going to realize that people DON'T LIKE AI.

patchcat2

Can the Cards do anything that isn’t embarrassing?

Paul2

It’s the little things like this that make me respect what the 2008 Arizona Cardinals managed to pull off. Sad franchise otherwise.

Upton_42

Everyone has to know it looks like shit. Just no one cares.
