Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever, WNBA season action
Paige Bueckers hit multiple early three-pointers as the Dallas Wings opened their matchup against the Indiana Fever, giving Dallas an early lead. Dallas started a lineup featuring Bueckers and Jessica Shepard, with Shepard sliding into offensive actions and helping generate high-quality looks. Indiana fielded Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, but Boston’s touches were limited early while Mitchell carried much of Indiana’s scoring load. Early officiating enforced the league’s current guidance and influenced possession flow, a mix of lineup usage and whistles that could shape both teams’ early-season momentum.
Kelsey Mitchell, naturally, showing us who the real face of Indiana should be. But let me mind my teams lol. #WNBA
(this statement has nothing to do with Aliyah Boston)
Yeah #that crowd melts down over it but she's clearly the anchor of that team. Hell, Steph White basically admitted as much when she more or less said in an interview that Mitchell is the one player on the squad who can fully create her own shot.
You gonna get folks mad at you.
Listening to Ryan and Lobo, it's only one person playing for Fever 🙄.
Ha, I'm a Boston STAN, so I'm always gonna go with her, but it can't be denied how Mitchell balling the fuck out last year is what made Indy so dangerous.
