Iran war, Strait of Hormuz tensions and ceasefire talks
The U.S. launched strikes on Iranian-linked targets while holding ceasefire talks with Tehran as Iran's formal reply remained pending. Crossfire in the Strait of Hormuz killed one Indian sailor and injured five after a dhow was struck, triggering shipping alerts in the UAE. The Federal Reserve identified an oil shock from the Iran war as a top risk to the U.S. financial system, and insurers and shippers warned of rising costs. Those military exchanges and Strait of Hormuz instability threaten global oil flows, raise insurance and fuel prices, and heighten inflation and market risks.
There was no ceasefire in Iran. There are no talks. It's all made up fantasy by Trump.

Trump really, really wants the war with Iran to end. He has declared victory many times, including about 3 weeks ago, when Iran briefly reopened the Strait of Hormuz. He has repeatedly extended his cease-fire deadlines instead of following through on his threats to resume hostilities.
