Cade Cunningham leads Pistons past Cavaliers, 107-97, to lead series 2-0

Cade Cunningham scored 25 points and recorded 10 assists while Tobias Harris added 21 as the Detroit Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-97 in Game 2. Detroit claimed both of its home matchups to open the series, starting and finishing strong in Game 2. Cleveland favored Dean Wade over Keon Ellis because Wade's length and on-ball defense matched up better against Cade Cunningham. The win gives Detroit early playoff leverage on its home floor and forces Cleveland to tweak rotations and defensive assignments before Game 3.

Cade Cunningham is probably the 5th best player in the league right now maybe even top 3. He’s a build a pro in 2K. Big guard who can pass, shoot and dribble and plays above average defense oh and might be the best leader in the league too. So glad he’s a Piston.

“This team did win 60 games, not just because of [Cade Cunningham]. So, they have really good players surrounding him.” The #Cavs did a pretty decent job on the Pistons star defensively on Tuesday, but Detroit had somebody else up its sleeve, too.
