Ohio and Indiana primary elections, May 5
Indiana and Ohio held primary elections on May 5, with Indiana polls opening at 6 a.m. In Indiana, seven GOP primary fights are being cast as direct tests of President Trump’s influence as he targets incumbents who blocked his redistricting push. In Ohio, contested congressional and statewide primaries create openings for Democrats amid growing GOP dissatisfaction with Trump’s agenda and will shape competitive districts for the November general election.
Now that the president is encouraging states to cancel their primary elections and redraw congressional district maps, can we agree that a constitutional crisis is now upon us?
