‘deteriorating human rights in the USA and absence of meaningful action and concrete guarantees from FIFA, host cities, or the U.S. government, organizations are issuing a travel advisory for fans, players, journalists, et al traveling to and within the USA for the June 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.’

Anybody traveling to America for the World Cup puts their liberty, freedom and lives at risk. ICE is still kidnapping and killing people every day. America is a dangerous place for foreign nationals from any country on the planet.

I wonder how many soccer players will be detained, deported, and banned from the US when they try to enter to play in the World Cup. According to the OSU Office of international Affairs, 5 OSU students have been detained & deported upon entry to US recently despite valid visas.

That this World Cup is even more problematic than the last one is some feat

It is too late to boycott the World Cup, yet not the L.A Olympics. The international call/protests should start NOW, before the Billions in contracts end up in the hands of the already wealthy. Protesting once the games begin will be too late. They won't care. The money will have already been made.

Fancy that. Amnesty International and others issued a travel advisory for anyone considering going to the US for the World Cup. Their long list includes restrictions on freedom of speech as well as serious risk of physical harm.

There is no doubt in my mind that ICE is champing at the bit to grab world cup tourists, hold them till the match they have tickets for is over then release them and laugh at them. Do not come to America.

No one should show up to the US for the World Cup out of protest to begin with
