Tampa Bay Lightning lead Montreal 3-2 late in Game 4, Hagel scores twice
Brandon Hagel scored twice, including a go-ahead snipe with about five minutes remaining, giving the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 lead late in Game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens in Montreal. Jake Guentzel cut Montreal's lead to 2-1 with a rush finish assisted by J.J. Moser and Darren Raddysh with 0:54 left in the second period. Hagel first tied the game on a power-play goal against Jakub Dobeš and then snapped home a finish set up by Nikita Kucherov to make it 3-2. The late surge hands Tampa Bay the lead in a crucial Game 4 and puts pressure on Montreal down the stretch.
Tampa Bay Lightning seem to like to play the bad guy act but hockey is about being honorably tough. They are not playing that way. Too much diving and faking.
Refs are sure falling for it So it’s working perfectly
NHL prefers a Tampa win, we know that too though. I agree, Tampa is diving and embellishing, not to mention doing the cheap shots and being less mature…you’d think they were the younger team. Have to say St. Louis doesn’t lose his mind like Cooper does either. Hope we gut this out.
