Rams select TE Max Klare, No. 61 overall

The Los Angeles Rams selected Ohio State tight end Max Klare with the No. 61 overall pick in Round 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Klare is an athletic receiver WHO flashed pass-catching upside in college while his run and pass blocking remain underdeveloped. The pick follows the Rams' heavy use of 13 personnel in 2025 and joins 2025 second-round tight end Terrance Ferguson, leaving Los Angeles with five tight ends projected for the roster. Klare gives the Rams a versatile mismatch weapon WHO can be deployed in multi tight end sets, slot packages, or as insurance for the receiving group.

No. 61, Los Angeles Rams: Max Klare, TE, Ohio State I like this TE pick more than the previous two given where they're taken. Klare is a good athlete and receiver who got washed out a bit by Ohio State's offense, but his blocking isn't up to par yet. He's honestly similar to Terrance Ferguson
